The inner city of Linz is a short term parking zone. It's bordered from the Promenade, Domgasse, Zollamt- and Fabrikstraße in the north, from the Kaisergasse, Eisenhand- and Körnerstraße to the Kantstraße in the east, from the Blumauer-, Land-, Stelzhamer-, Volksgarten- and Weingartshofstraße in the south and from the Waldeggstraße, Keller-, Sandgasse and Hopfengasse and the Kapuzinerstraße in the west. The maximum parking duration is 30, 90, or 180 minutes. The short term parking zones are valid Monday-Friday 8a.m.-6.30p.m. and Saturday 8a.m.-12p.m. At this times you have to pay €1,00 for every half an hour. Permanent parking permits are available for residents of short term parking zones at the Bürgerservice Center:

- € 94.50 for 2 years
Parking tickets are available at parking ticket machines. The parking duration can be arranged individual with an minimum price for half an hour (€1,00) and then in 10 cent steps to the maximum parking duration. The fee can be either paid with coins or with quick.
